Bourne detachment of the Lincolnshire Army Cadet Force was nominated along with a number of other Army Cadet Force and Air Training Corps detachments and was successful in being granted the award.
A presentation was made at Tattershall on Sunday 10th June in special recognition of the continuous support to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal by the Army Cadet Force and Air Training Corps.
The presentation was made by Mr Anthony Worth, Deputy Lord Lieutenant (on behalf of Mrs Bridget Cracroft-Eley), Brigadier Barry Reeves, Royal British Legion County President and Mr Brian Marsden, Royal British Legion County Youth Officer.
The detachment was presented with a Framed Certificate and an Engraved Silver Cup which they will hold for a year. The first year holders of the Cup were the Boston Air Training Corps.
